That's true, David... I've heard about that. But in order for the organizational features to work properly in, say, iPhoto and iTunes for photos and music, it is better to keep them on the main hard drive is it not? Music and photos (especially my DSLR photos) can fill up hard drive space pretty quickly...

Well, I may want to do some HD editing, but it won't be my primary task. Thanks for the reply David, it's certainly reassuring. ha.
I'm thinking of moving my desktop over to the Mac once Leopard comes out, but I don't really want to drop the cash on a Mac Pro if the iMac should work fine. I'd like the options for upgrading in the Mac Pro, but I would just put in the biggest hard drive in the iMac for now and upgrade the ram later (provided it'll do what I want it to do).

Ah, thanks Munk... That's exactly what I needed! Well, honestly, it's not going to be used for a business per se. I do work with an online magazine and will also be going to school in the fall... I have a MacBook Pro and am planning on getting an Apple desktop (not sure which one yet) when leopard launches. The licenses would be used on both of my own computers, but I do plan on using something like Pages to do some stuff for the magazine and school.
I just didn't want it to have some sort of "Family license" stamped into the coding of the file so I can then be hunted down later or something (like what Adobe does with their education products, from what I've heard). That was my main concern. I'm assuming Apple doesn't do this... So I'll probably get the Family Pack. Pay twenty bucks more now but saves me more come October...
Thanks again!
